The uncrowned Queen of African songs once again visited Denmark on November 3rd 2007. The event in Amager Bio (Copenhagen, Denmark) was sold out for a fantastic evening with Angelique Kidjo and her band. Angelique Kidjo was born and raised in Benin, but today she lives in New York. On her latest CD "Djin Djin" she works together with a number of other international stars including Alicia Keys, Peter Gabriel, Josh Groban, Carlos Santana, Joss Stone and Branford Marsalis. Also featured on the CD is the blind couple from Mali: Amadou and Mariam. Angelique Kidjo is first of all an African singer and this was evident in her great show in Denmark. Saba Kiros (Miss Africa Denmark 2007) was host of the evening and welcomed the band from the stage.
